ROBERT McMILLAN

Robert L. McMillan, Jr., was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. He graduated from Wake Forest University and the Law School of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, class of 1949.
Of his more than fifty years of practice, he handled a variety of types of cases and legal problems. Later he became primarily a trial lawyer in the field of criminal defense handling a myriad of misdemeanor and felony cases, including numerous homicide cases and other charges of lesser magnitude. |

DUNCAN McMILLAN

For the last 25+ years, Duncan McMillan has developed his practice in the field of criminal law in the state District and Superior courts representing ordinary folks charged with criminal offenses ranging from speeding tickets to drunk driving to drug violations to sex offenses to capital murder. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has served as president of the Wake County Academy of Criminal Trial Lawyers and multiple terms on the board of the Wake County Bar Association.

STEVE SMITH
Partner
Steve Smith focuses his practice on the representation of companies and individuals in matters involving antitrust, government regulation, civil litigation, business-related criminal investigations and litigation and conflict resolution. He has significant experience in pre-litigation negotiation and resolution and civil and criminal trials.
Mr. Smith was admitted to bar in 1973 and to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1976. He graduated with honors from the Law School of the University of North Carolina where he was a member of The North Carolina Law Review, the academic honor society of the law school. |
